We’re saying goodbye to some big movies on EPIX soon, many of which involve serious female talent. Take a look at the list below to see what movies will depart EPIX in April and May, then make sure you watch before they’re gone!
Carrie (2013) – Leaving EPIX April 2nd
Chloë Grace Moretz stars in the title role and Julianne Moore plays her religious zealot mother. You know the story from Stephen King and the original 1976 film, but if you’re a fan, the ending of this 2013 remake is worth the watch.
In A World… (2013) – Leaving EPIX April 8th
Lake Bell wrote, directed and stars in this 2013 romantic comedy about an underachieving vocal coach who finds herself competing against her arrogant father and his protégé in the cut-throat world of movie trailer voice-over work. Don’t miss this Sundance Film Festival winner. Bell shines in all three roles and the film itself has an impressive 92% Rotten Tomatoes Rating.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013) – Leaving EPIX April 21st
We’re sure you’ve already seen the second installment in the famous franchise, but you’ll want to watch one more time before it’s gone from EPIX. Sad as we are to see it go, you can still get your Hunger Games fix with Mockingjay Pt. 1 now playing, and Mockingjay Pt. 2 hits EPIX airwaves in July.
